On May 17 Greg Lintinger, Babcock Center Dietary Technician and leader of multiple health and wellness initiatives ran a marathon that took him past 10 Babcock Center residential locations in the Irmo and Columbia areas.

Lintinger understands the importance of a healthy lifestyle and is always working to develop and advocate for inclusive opportunities for fitness and health.

Babcock Center locations  decorated their front yards and banged on pots and pans in a show of support and gratitude as Lintinger ran by.

The 26.2 mile run route started and ended at 100 Aylesbury Road in Irmo, and wound through the Columbia area.

The Babcock Center is a local non-profit organization whose mission is to empower people with lifelong disabilities to enjoy life by promoting abilities and respecting choice.
