In the real estate business, as in all businesses, technology helps keep us connected. Computers, mobile devices, apps, files, paperwork, calendars and CRM programs keep our professional life organized and in touch with customers and clients.
However, we can never forget the power of a handshake. We work in a people business. It is imperative that we build a genuine person-to-person relationship with everyone. That’s why we have different organizations with many networking opportunities such as Chambers of Commerce, etc. Our name tags are our “silent salesmen.”
Our goal is to blend the science of making connections. Once we make a connection, we can then use technology to provide the best client services. And we need to know when to go digital or when to stop by in person based on the client.
In Irmo and surrounding areas, we are fortunate we can run into many friends and business acquaintances doing our daily tasks and routines. These face to face meetings are essential in keeping in touch. So combining technology and people encounters work together to create the perfect storm for our business.
Remember, technology can improve but never replace our relationships with people. We still have to maintain our heart.
