The next Sundays at Lowman Concert Series will be held September 9. Performing will be Eunjung Choi on the piano.
Choi, a native of Seoul, South Korea, currently serves as Assistant Professor of Piano and Coordinator of Keyboard Studies at Claflin University, teaching applied piano, piano literature, class piano, and fundamentals of music theory. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Pedagogy from the University of South Carolina, a master’s degree in Piano and Organ Performance from Ball State University, and a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from Dongduk Women’s University, Seoul, South Korea.
In addition to her active schedule as a soloist, collaborative artist, masterclass clinician, and adjudicator, Choi is a member of the College Music Society, Music Teachers National Association, Pi Kappa Lambda, Korean Association of Piano Pedagogy, and Piano Society of Korea. Prior to joining Claflin University, she was on the faculty at Georgia College & State University.
All Sunday at Lowman Concerts are held at 3 pm on Sunday afternoons in the New Life Chapel located in the Wellness Center on the Heritage at Lowman campus and will be followed by a reception in the adjacent Hoefler Gallery. The concerts are free and open to the public.
