Just as it has done since Sharing God’s Love opened in 1984, the community has faithfully supported the ministry with donations of food, clothing, personal hygiene items, household goods and money. This generosity has enabled Sharing God’s Love to serve 1,880 families, including 5,261 people and 445 new families during 2018. Food, valued at $408,360; clothing, valued at 180,443; and financial assistance for utilities and other emergencies valued at $78,522 were given to our neighbors in their time of need – all living in the Irmo, Dutch Fork, St. Andrews and Ballentine area.

Sharing God’s Love also contributed assistance to other care-providing ministries and agencies valued at $536,712, making $1,204,037 the total amount of services provided in 2018. The percentage of administrative cost to value of services provided is 9.6%.
