Blakely Mendenhall and Luke Shealy, won first runners-up in the SC Farm Bureau Talent Contest Junior I Division, held recently in Myrtle Beach during the organization’s 75th Annual Meeting. Mendenhall is the daughter of Chris and April Mendenhall of Lexington, and Shealy is the son of Laney and Bryan Shealy also of Lexington County.

Ansley Claire Fricks of Anderson County took first place, while Sophia Herz of Edgefield County was named second runner-up.

South Carolina Farm Bureau is a non-profit organization that celebrates and supports family farmers, locally grown food and rural lands through legislative advocacy, education and community outreach.
