Lexington County Master Gardener Volunteers are offering local Library Presentations this spring.

February 20, 1 pm – Healthy Garden Soil

Every good garden begins with the soil. Come learn how to create and maintain healthy soil in your garden. Master Gardeners will explain what is healthy soil and why it is the foundation of a successful garden. Learn about adding organic matter, Clemson’s soil test analysis and proper practices for working your soil.

Native plants are low maintenance and hardier to grow than imported plants, along with the added bonus of being beneficial to our environment. Learn about the native plant choices available and how they can improve your micro-ecosystem.
