Black Out Poetry Night: April 2 at 6:30 pm: Become a poet for a night. The words for blackout poems are already written on a page but it’s up to the blackout poet to create their own lyrical masterpiece. You’ll choose words and short phrases to make your own poetry from the texts we provide. Ages 18 and older.

Poet Talk: Al Black: April 23 at 7 pm: In honor of National Poetry Month, we host local poet and arts advocate Al Black. Q and A session and book signing to follow.  

Palmetto Scribe: April 27 at 2 pm: Meet with more than 25 authors in a casual relaxed setting- ask questions about the writing process and find out what’s next on their lists. Books will be available for purchase. The winner of the Palmetto Scribe Short Story Competition for juniors and seniors in Lexington/Richland School District Five will be announced.
