Governor Henry McMaster has issued an executive order mandating that restaurants and bars must close their dine-in services beginning Wednesday. Curbside ordering and take out orders will be still be allowed.  McMaster announced the decision at his press conference Tuesday.

In addition, organized events of 50 or more people held in any state, county or city are prohibited.

McMaster requested that for a Coronavirus visit, insurance companies pay 100% of the cost.

He encouraged grocery stores to limit purchases on paper products as well as having Senior hours where older people can shop on their own.

The deadline to file taxes in the state of South Carolina has also been extended to June 1st.
