Erik Sickinger has announced his candidacy for the 2019 election for Irmo Town Council. He filed August 19.

He has been a resident of Irmo for about 3 years.

Sickinger’s experience has been in sales, introducing his Company’s software to mayors, councils, and public works departments across the US. He has attended ICMA (International City Manager’s Association) and NLC (National League of Cities) multiple times, meeting with elected and appointed leaders from across the country.

“This is an opportunity for Irmo to elect a fresh face and a new direction for the town,” Sickinger said. “I will be a representative who listens – who will focus on creating a monthly town event calendar, creating a safer Irmo, and fostering a sense of community.”

Election day is November 5. Two council seats and the mayoral seat are up for election this year.
