Captain Keith R. LeBlanc received the Bronze Medal and the Air Force Aerial Achievement Medal March 9 for exceptional meritorious achievements as Director of Operations for a Joint Intelligence Task Force.

LeBlanc is a Dutch Fork High School honors graduate and was a member of the ROTC program under the direction of Col. Douglas Senter and Chief Wilis. He served as the commander of the ROTC in 2002. Upon graduation he received numerous scholarships from the USAF. LeBlanc earned his Bachelor degree in electrical Engineering and Business Administration with honors from Virginia Tech.

He served as commander for the Corp of Cadets. He attained his Masters Degree at the Air Force Institute of Technology. He’s attended school for the Intelligence Brigade and Regional Security Operations Center.

LeBlanc is the son of David M. LeBlanc of Irmo and Bonnie Caouette of Webster, Massachusetts. He is married to Jennifer Sunburn whom he met while stationed at Holloman Air Force Base in Alamogordo, New Mexico. They have a two children, Brayden, 2 years and Jaxon, 3 months old. He will soon be stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.
