Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott has announced the arrests of Dillon Parker-Patterson (DOB: 10/25/1992) for possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and Jeremy McLeod (12/10/1991) for loitering for narcotics. Parker-Patterson and McLeod were arrested September 18 at 487 Town Center Place in the Village of Sandhills.
On September 18 while checking property on foot patrol in the Village of Sandhills, a deputy of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department’s Community Action Team (CAT) spotted Parker-Patterson and McLeod with shopping bags containing marijuana in plain view. The CAT deputy was getting off of an elevator as Parker-Patterson and McLeod were waiting to get on the elevator. Parker-Patterson and McLeod were immediately taken into custody where three pounds of marijuana and about $3,000 in cash were located inside the shopping bags.
RCSD Deputies were able to obtain a search warrant for an apartment related to Parker-Patterson and McLeod in the Village of Sandhills where an additional seven pounds of marijuana, a stolen rifle, and handgun were located inside. Drug paraphernalia was also found throughout the apartment. Additional charges are forthcoming.
