The Lexington-Richland School District Five Board of Trustees will hold its first in-person board meeting since COVID-19 prompted school closures.
The Board’s Monday, June 15 meeting was held at the Center for Advanced Technical Studies, with members of the public invited to attend and sign-up for in-person public participation. Social distancing practices were in place, and those in attendance were encouraged to wear masks.
With the return of in-person board meetings, in-person public participation will be available for those who sign in to speak at the venue before the meeting begins, per the guidelines of Board Policy BEDH. There will be no pre-submitted public participation, since in-person Board meetings have resumed and the event is open to the public.
Recordings of Board meetings will continue to be posted on the district’s Board Information tab after the meetings.
