In light of the recent state-wide weather disasters, Denny’s is lending a helping hand to its South Carolina neighbors by hosting a 24-hour benefit event to raise funds for the American Red Cross chapter in Columbia. From 7 am Thursday, October 22, until 7 am Friday, October 23, Denny’s restaurants in Columbia will donate 20 percent of all guest sales to the American Red Cross and its efforts helping those affected by disasters.
“South Carolina is home to our corporate headquarters and so many of our loyal guests and employees, so the effects of this disaster have touched us deeply,” said Denny’s field marketing manager, Denise Gaines. “For many years the Columbia community has supported our restaurants, so we owe it to those neighbors to come together during this difficult time and help them when they need it most.”
