The prepaid debit card program used by residents throughout Lexington County to receive child support payments will end December 31.

The Palmetto Automated Child Support System (PACSS) will be replacing the prepaid debit card program throughout the state and in Lexington County.

The PACSS system will be implemented in Lexington County February 4.

Clerk of Court Lisa Comer urges any residents who currently use the cards to receive child support payments in Lexington County to contact the Clerk of Court’s office at 803-785-8393.

Residents impacted by the change should have received additional information in the mail regarding the program and timeline of changes from the South Carolina Department of Social Services.
