The 51st Annual Carolina Classic Home & Garden Show will be held at the SC State Fairgrounds March 10 – 12. The show is hosted by the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina (BIA).

The Carolina Classic Home & Garden Show is the largest home and garden exhibition in the Midlands. More than 250 construction, home improvement, and outdoor product and service exhibits fill the Cantey, Goodman and Ellison buildings plus outdoor areas.

Opening day of the show is Senior’s Day. Everyone age 62 and older is invited to attend at no charge March 10. Enjoy the wide variety of exhibits at the show and a special Senior Expo in the Epic Homes Tent with exhibits throughout the day. Friday evening from 5 pm to 7:30 pm is the HGYP Scavenger Hunt & Social. Young Professionals are invited to the show for food and drinks, networking, games and prizes.

Saturday is Military Appreciation Day. Active members of the military and their family members present their Military ID at the gate for free entry all day. Representatives from Ft. Jackson will be at the show sharing information on the 100 year history of the fort. Saturday and Sunday brings the Bierkeller Beer Garden to the Home & Garden Show. Enjoy locally-brewed beers and fair-style foods from a variety of vendors and food trucks. The Balloon House by Balloonopolis will be featured in the Ellison Building all weekend.

In addition to the many tried-and-true products and services presented at the show each year, many exhibitors will display items that are completely new to the industry and our area. See what new products are available at the Home & Garden Show. And if that’s not enough, exhibitors will be giving away more than $20,000 in prizes and discounts throughout the show. You’ve got to come to the show to register to win, so don’t miss out.

The show also features free educational seminars offered daily by exhibitors on a variety of topics. Attend seminars from our sponsors each day of the show to learn about building your own home or remodeling your current one. Seminars are free to attend with admission to the show.

The show is being presented by Clyde Nettles Roofing.

Admission is $5 per person; Kids 14 and under enter free. Ages 62 and older enter free March 10. Present your Military ID at the ticket booth for free admission March 11. Parking is through Gate 6 off of George Rogers Blvd. and is $5 per vehicle.
