The folks at the Batesburg/Leesville Work Activity Center believe in giving back to the community. Recently, they made four blankets for the nurses in Lexington School District 3. The blankets will be used in the health rooms to provide comfort to students when they are sick.
They also collect newspapers to give to the Batesburg/Leesville Animal Hospital to line pet cages and they collect plastic grocery bags to donate to a local food pantry.
Babcock Center is proud of the impact that they are making in their community!
